A Alcatuna nasceu do gosto colectivo de alguns amigos pela música, pela cultura, pela convivência...
Foi seu objectivo inicial levar as nossas músicas além fronteiras, pois havia a possibilidade de viajar à América, viagem essa que não chegou a realizar-se.
De qualquer forma, o desejo de cantar, tocar, divertir-se não se perdeu e desde essa altura até hoje a Alcatuna tem vindo a enaltecer a nossa cultura, dando alegria a concertos, festas tradicionais e religiosas...
Nunca esquecendo que para divertir é preciso estar divertido posso garantir, pois também faço parte da trupe, que é tempo de qualidade e de diversão (e trabalho) aquele que se passa entre ensaios, encontros e actuações, pois no fundo somos apenas um grupo de amigos que gosta de se divertir, que gosta de música e de beber uns copos...
